FLUX Beambox II: 55W Desktop CO2 Laser Cutter
The Beambox II is the second-generation flagship of the Beambox series, built around a 55W catalyzed premium CO2 laser that cuts acrylic up to 0.79" (20 mm) and cypress up to 0.71" (18 mm) thick, and engraves stone, anodized metal, glass, and rubber. It runs at up to 35.43 in/s (900 mm/s) with 1000 DPI resolution across a 24.80" x 17.13" work area.
Alignment is handled three ways: a built-in HD camera preview that covers the full work area, red light preview projection, and one-touch auto focus from the 5" touchscreen. Material clearance adapts from 2.36" (6 cm) with the included honeycomb platform to 8.46" (21.5 cm) with the optional Extension Pocket. A full metal enclosure, lid-open safety stop, and emergency stop round out a machine certified by CE, FCC, FDA, and SGS as an IEC 60825-1 / FDA Class 1 laser product.

It precisely cuts wood, acrylic, leather, and cardboard, with a maximum cutting thickness of 0.79" (20 mm) depending on material, and engraves stone, anodized metal, glass, and rubber. As a CO2 laser it cannot cut metal, but it can engrave anodized or painted metal.
Can it cut thicker than the listed maximum?
Yes. By reducing the cutting speed in the software or performing multiple passes, deeper cuts can be achieved.
How does the Beambox II align and focus?
Camera preview and red light preview handle alignment through Beam Studio, and focus is automatic: press and hold the AF button on the 5" touchscreen for 2–3 seconds. The camera preview area fully covers the working area.
How thick a material fits inside?
