The 20W diode does the cutting and general engraving: wood, leather, MDF, dark acrylic and more, up to 10mm wood in one pass. The 1.2W infrared laser engraves all metals and plastics with a much finer 0.03 x 0.03mm spot. They can also work together in the same job.
Do I need to buy the infrared module separately?
No. The 1.2W infrared laser is built into this Kraft configuration alongside the 20W diode.
