The 3DeVOK MT Gen2 Advanced Handheld 3D Scanner is a professional-grade metrology scanner built around a Quad-Light system that combines four distinct light sources in a single handheld device. The scanner delivers accuracy up to 0.03 mm (0.0012 in) and resolution up to 0.05 mm (0.002 in), using 34 cross blue laser lines for high-precision reverse engineering, 11 parallel blue laser lines for fine-detail capture on sculptures and prototypes, a single blue laser line for deep holes and recessed areas, and large-area infrared speckle for rapid large-scale scanning. Built on Scantech's industrial-grade scanning technology, the MT Gen2 is designed for reverse engineering, automotive and motorcycle customization, and 3D inspection work.
The MT Gen2 scans black and reflective surfaces without scanning powder or spray preparation, and operates reliably outdoors without dedicated environmental control. It captures objects ranging from 2 in to 16.5 ft (50 mm to 5 m) in size, with four alignment modes available: geometric feature, hybrid, texture, and marker alignment. Scanning speed reaches up to 80 FPS in marker mode and up to 30 FPS in hybrid mode, with a scanning rate of up to 4,500,000 points per second. The scanner weighs 1.37 lb (620 g) and measures 8.46 x 2.87 x 2.09 in (215 x 73 x 53 mm) for extended handheld use.
Every 3DeVOK MT Gen2 includes 3DeVOK Studio, a free scanning software suite with real-time feedback, one-click mesh optimization, and CAD-ready export in formats including OBJ, STL, PLY, and ASC for direct use in SolidWorks, PolyWorks, Geomagic, and QUICKSURFACE. The scanner is internationally certified and ships with an ISO 17025 calibration certificate, and it supports the optional Airgo wireless handle for tether-free scanning of large objects.
The MT Gen2 delivers basic accuracy up to 0.03 mm (0.0012 in) and resolution up to 0.05 mm (0.002 in), depending on which of its four light modes is in use.
