The Original Prusa MK4S 3D Printer is a thoughtfully engineered machine built to deliver high-quality, reliable 3D prints for hobbyists, educators, and professionals. It offers a build volume of approximately 250 × 210 × 220 mm (9.84 × 8.3 × 8.6 in), giving you ample room to print medium-sized objects like functional parts, art pieces, or practical household items. The machine rests on a sturdy die-cast aluminum frame and maintains a footprint of around 500 × 550 × 400 mm (19.6 × 21.6 × 15.7 in), making it compact enough for a desk or dedicated workspace.

One of the standout features of the MK4S is its “360° cooling” system, which enables prints with overhangs up to about 75° without requiring support structures. This improvement reduces material waste, lowers cleanup time, and expands the types of geometry you can successfully print—from flexible items to more elaborate designs. Complementing this, the machine incorporates a new direct-drive extruder (the so-called Nextruder) and a high-flow hot end that supports a wide range of filament types—including PLA, PETG, flexibles like TPU, and even certain high-temperature materials.
